Eric is DarkSilvers only pillar for a story yet. Eric is the one who cockblocks u from the girls and he is the one who wants to send u to the camp. So its the only thing making any storyprogress possible, cause obviously all the girls (but kira) are without any personality (the mom even is kinda mental challenged. She acts far beyond illogical.).
So yea he was needed.

You say its not ntr. There are 2 paths:
a) u befriend Eric and help him to fuck ur family like the brainless dolls they r. Maybe u get some leftovers, maybe not. But since u still want to bang them urself but r a submissive and pathetic piece of sh*t it is ntr o.O

b)u war Eric. U will find urself grinding for days (implying u dont have a modded version with tons of money) and try to play ur cards the best u can while Eric has a plotarmor and makes progress through programmed-magic. Even if u think u got him (picture of him masturbating to ur sister) the dev made the mother dumb enough to ignore it. If u actually do something better than him (get the lingerie for alice before he does) HE gets her to model for him anyway, cause she "doesnt obey to u" and craves for the d of the guy she said she is so happy her mother finally got into a new relationship with before....
In the war path so far Eric can bang 3 out of 4 girls and u even have to choose to give him one of the girls voluntary (no ntr at al.....)
The only way to prevent that from happening is to grind, exploit the game and dodge events by not triggering quests at all or for example go to sleep before midnight so u dont see/trigger scenes.
