Petals of Rose is set in fantasy world known as Rieat. While it's not strange that Demon King and Legendary Hero clash with each other from time to time, our heroine - Rose - is not a Hero and therefore her quest to slay Demon King is viewed as an act of insanity or suicide by many... Because who can oppose such powerful being? Or maybe she is right and Hero is far from Legendary?



Rose travels through Rieat, through her homeland - Manura's Kingdom, full of knights, nobles and peasants - to various countries such as Ka-Ohn Empire, oriental flavored mystery, Qmptark Colony, land of Beastmen to a place no one wants to go - Marath, the dark continent. Alongside her journey, lust is one of the things going alongside her, trying to seduce and corrupt our redheaded adventurer.



Game story however depends quite heavy on player's choice. Just because they decide to ignore something or not do due to lack of knowledge of it, doesn't mean it can't affect a story itself. In simplest terms, Rose may be a little butterfly in a effect of the same name or a poor human that became a toy of the Gods themselves... Or maybe - there is a special force influenting her actions and decisions for their own pleasure...
