This is the official English edition, with all patches already included.
* Patch v2.0 - English translation + full review of pictures. Also, the so-called “mother patch”, which allows you to kiss your mom and get the ending with her, which in the Japanese version was a separate addition, is included in this English version initially (note, although there is a root in the game, in the scene review menu with mom do not fall, there is not even a section for it).
* Patch v2.01 - fixes a bug in the original release 2.0 that did not allow to enter the root for the endings in the final part of the game (officially released the necessary fix).
* Patch v2.02 - connects cheat codes that allow you to open the gallery of bonus videos for viewing (see below). For the game is optional.
* “Third person” patch - changes the English text of the dialogs so that Saya speaks of herself in the third person, as she does in the original (not “I love brother”, but “Saya love brother”). This patch is not particularly important, it does not affect the passage, and if you wish, you can simply get rid of it: go to the folder with the game files and rename PATCH.BAK to PATCH.XP3 with a replacement.
Also, in the folder with the game two startup files:
* onii-kiss.exe from the original release v2.0
* onii-kiss-krkrz.exe from the official patch v2.01 which, according to the developers, improves the performance of the game engine.
You can start the game from at least one, at least from another exe-shnik, they are interchangeable, and the game can be played safely with any of them. The game does not require installation, and works fine under any locale, not only Japanese (well, yes, this is English localization).
PS. If you wish, you can change the name of the main character of the game to your own - menu "Settings" - "System" - "Protagonist's Name". The name will change only in the header, not in the dialogs themselves. But Cyrillic is supported, verified.
Cheat codes allow you to open bonuses for viewing - animated videos with opening and all the endings (except for the "secret" ending of the mother - there is no code for him), comments by voice actresses and fan art artists. These codes do not open any additional scenes or anything else important, and the game will not lose anything if you do not use the codes. The only useful cheat code is to unlock the harem root without wasting time going through all the other root sisters.
Enter codes should be in the menu "Settings" - section "Codes", in the box at the bottom. When you enter the correct code, a message should appear. All valid codes are in the spoiler below (codes from the Japanese version, of course, do not work).
