Even so, her family seems determined to maintain some semblance of normalcy on this festive holiday. Perhaps a visit from her best friend bearing a gift will spread a little seasonal cheer her way ...

This issue opens with a short nightmare sequence in which we get to see Holly reduced to a much smaller size. Perhaps this is Santa's way of reminding her that things could always be worse?

Her situation doesn't improve much after waking up, as she begins to realize how difficult everyday tasks can be when you're an elf-sized human. She also experiences some embarrassing panic when she loses her costume and the family dog steals her towel! Will this yuletide torment never end? Bah, humbug!
