A lewd dreamworld filled with strange monsters and surreal situations. Changes within dreams slowly sip into reality, altering and warping the main characters and the world at large.

Our hapless protagonist wakes from a strange dream to find himself gradually transforming into a mysterious girl he met.

To avoid the changes becoming permanent, he assumes a fake identity, blending in as a new girl at school while searching for a way to undo these changes.

Leaning on his friends Yuri, Kari, and Nanami for support, uncovers their own tangled relationships with reality and the dream world. Yuri suffers from perpetual nightmares and believes his presence in her dreams might provide rare moments of peace. Nanami sees the dream world as a fantastical escape from the hardships of her life. Kari hides a dark fractured psyche...

Important information:
Game mechanics are cryptic, the puzzles are difficult, and there is a lot of text. If you only want to see adult content save yourself the time.
There is no official walkthrough. Discovering what you can do is part of the gameplay. Most of the story can be experienced without exploring the dream world.
The game is in an incomplete state: expect bugs and segments that don't make sense.
You can explore the Dream World with the story disabled in Freeplay mode.
This game has the following content: pregnancy, parasites, tentacles, forced feminization, gender swap and several other transformations.
This game won't run on outdated hardware. There are 120 4096x4096 textures pages, around half of winch are loaded at all times.


Visuals:

Scenes and characters are depicted through animated pixelart at world scale, in real time. There are no CG images.
A humanoid characters consists of many interchangeable hand-drawn sprites that layer on top each other. I.e the head alone consists of interchangeable irises, eye shapes, front hair, back hair, mouth, eyebrows, special effects, with swappable palettes.
Environments are a mix of my own sprite-work and various asset packs rescaled, edited or redrawn to better fit character proportions.
The target resolution is 1280x720. This can be rescaled, but the area view won't increase.
The target framerate is 60fps. Increasing the framerate increases the speed of the animations by design.

Narrative:

The narrative is told through dialog and visual story telling. No prose. Player choices can be superficial or story altering.
The tone ranges from slice of life comedy to existential horror. Or so I'm told.
While the protagonist exhibits agency and participates in conversations, the narrative is largely carried by NPCs.


Gameplay:

The gameplay consists of 2 phases:

1. A life sim. During the day the protagonist attempts to maintain life by interacting with this world's characters and engaging in activities in order to manage a stat system.

2. The dream world. At night the protagonist attempts to solve esoteric puzzles while navigating a monster filled dream world.

The game has no traditional loss condition, although there are nuisances and annoyances that encourage the player to engage in its mechanics.


Stamina(White) represent your energy, and functions as a limit to how much you can interact with while awake. Upon reaching zero, the only thing left to do is sleep. While asleep, Stamina functions in reverse: every interaction restores Stamina. When the bar fills entirely, the dream ends and you wake up.

Body(Red) represents your health. Going to bed hungry or thirsty, some physical encounters or activities and painful dialogue options damage Body. Try to keep Body above zero to avoid the Void.

Mind(Blue) represents how sane and well adjusted you are. Corruption deteriorates Mind every night, as do some activities and conversations. Completely deteriorated Mind causes nightmares.

Will(Green) represents your willpower to be proactive and the imagination to achieve. High Dissonance drains Will, if left unresolved. Most conversations that move the story forward or explore deeper meaning cost Will. Any actions what requires more Will than available cannot be performed.

All stats can be increased through consumable and activities. All 4 stats are measured on a 100 point scale.
Corruption, Dissonance, Coherence and other Colored Orbs are explained as the story progresses.

The day is split into Dawn, Morning, Afternoon, Dusk, Evening, Night and ???.
Each period is split into 5 time units. Once all 5 time units are used up, the next period starts.
??? does not have functional time units.
Some areas may have different functionality depending on the period.

The Needle forces you to wake up to a severe stat loss. It also reverts back all physical changes from that dream.
The Dream World resets every day, but the knowledge achieved does not. Some things require multiple attempts.
You can press Alt(Default Key) to sparkle some of the interactable objects that weren't meant to be hidden.
Use the diary to see how to progress the story. It is recommended to push the story as far as you can before exploring the Dream World in depth.
