People want free stuff, that i understand, but picking paid products (and i mean paid as patreons only content, for those who donate (correct me if i'm mistaken here in what a patreon is, i never had an account there)) and distributing them for free at other sites is nothing but a loss of profit for the creator. Surely, I agree it's good for that person to know that other users all over the internet are interested in his/her product, it's encouraging, but what is motivation without resources? Each individual downloading a patreons-only product for free counts as a loss for the creator (can't tell how big each loss is, though), that is, less chances of completing the product.

As a simple, resuming comparison, imagine you made a game, video or whatever content, and decide to sell it. Then one person buys it ONCE, goes to his/her home, copies it and distributes it for free for other people, making that people go pick it for free instead of buying it from you. How the **** is that fair?

Not to mention, aside from all this comercial stuff, It's something someone made, he/she spent his/her time in making it (which being a game in this case, is quite the task), the least others could do is respect whatever conditions he/she puts on the product, isn't it?
