Jet part also stops right in her house so that suck

There are a few background options etc that are available in the 3.31 version, which don't appear to significantly affect game play, but they are useable...

Sadly, Sawatex has withdrawn support of the game and there are no further plans to update. If you get it, hang on to it because this game will become a classic
